INTRODUCTION
Water Tower is a peaceful retreat where one can escape from the pressures of elsewhere. From the moment you arrive, you will feel the tranquility and serenity of the Estate. Keep eyes peeled for pheasants roaming in the garden in the evenings.
This 350 acre estate dates back to the 1870’s when Sir Henry Peek commissioned a Tudor style mansion, which is now Grade II* Listed, to be built on the land.
Water Tower is located in a great position on the private Rousdon Estate. The estate sits about 150 metres above sea level and the parkland provides an array of woodland and countryside walks bordered by a private beach on the dramatic East Devon Jurassic coastline.
Bedrooms
All the bedrooms are on the ground floor and have super-king zip and link beds. Three of the bedrooms have an en-suite with shower, basin and WC. The forth and fifth bedrooms have a Jack & Jill shared bathroom with a free standing bath, shower, WC and basin.
Outside
Set in an acre of grounds, Water Tower possesses a unique location offering complete privacy. With brilliant cycling and walking routes on the doorstep, stroll through the private Charlton beach to the golden sands of the dramatic Jurassic coastline, where history-hungry children can hunt for prehistoric fossils and frolic in the lapping waves until sundown.
